Web projects to build

The Build

An application, an internal tool, a custom platform. This kind of project can't be quoted in thirty minutes: it starts with a conversation, not an estimate.

  • A free first meeting to describe what you want to build
  • A straight opinion on what holds up and what's risky
  • A price and a timeline based on the project's complexity and scope
  • Delivered in phases, each one usable on its own
How The Build works

The Build, step by step

How a Build project runs.

A custom project doesn't start with a quote: it starts with a conversation. Four steps, in this order, and you commit to nothing until the last one.

01

The meeting

Thirty minutes, free, at your place, at your office or by video call. No specification document to prepare, no technical vocabulary required.

02

Explaining the project

You describe what you want to build: who it serves, what it has to do, what already exists, what constrains you. We dig together until we reach the questions the original idea doesn't show.

03

My opinion and the pricing

I tell you honestly what I think of the project: what holds up, what's risky, what should wait. Then you get the price and the timeline, broken into phases. Both depend on complexity and scope — a single-screen internal tool and a platform with several user roles are not the same amount of work.

04

Starting the work

If there is work to start. You decide with no pressure: we build, we postpone because the timing isn't right, or we leave it there. If we go ahead, the first phase begins with a delivery date in writing.

Why trust me with this: two of the three projects in my portfolio are exactly this kind of work. GNOSIS is an AI-powered learning application, and Zarya is a travel feasibility platform in five languages. Both were designed, built and deployed alone, from the first mockup to production.

Book a meeting to talk it through

After launch — optional service

Maintenance, so you never think about it.

Entirely optional. Hosting, domain name, security certificate, updates, daily backups, and thirty minutes of changes a month. You can turn it down at the start, take it later, or cancel any time — and you leave with your site.

$50per month

The Base and The Foundation, step by step

How building a website goes.

01

The meeting

Thirty minutes, free, at your place or by video call. We look at what you sell, who buys it, and what's getting in the way right now.

02

The quote

A fixed price and a delivery date, in writing. What's included, and above all what isn't. You decide with no pressure.

03

The build

A preview link from day one. You watch the site go up and comment as it happens, not at the end.

04

Launch

One hour of training so you're self-sufficient. You leave with every login, your domain and your code.

05

Afterwards

Monthly maintenance if you want it. Otherwise we talk again when you need me. No hidden commitment.

Questions

What people ask before signing.

How long does it actually take?

One to two weeks for a small business site, three to four for a company site. The only thing that stretches a timeline is waiting on copy and photos. We settle that at the first meeting by fixing the dates together.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes. You get an hour of training and access to change your text, your photos and your opening hours. For everything else, monthly maintenance covers thirty minutes of changes a month.

Who owns the site?

You do. The domain name is registered in your name, the code is handed over to you, and your copy is yours. If you ever want to work with someone else, you leave with everything, no negotiation.

Why not $79 a month like some agencies?

Because those plans are rentals: the site stays the agency's property and you pay indefinitely. Here you pay once to build it, then maintenance is optional.

Over five years it almost always works out cheaper — and more importantly, the site is yours.

Do you work outside Saguenay?

Yes, anywhere in Quebec. The difference is that businesses in the region can meet me in person, in Chicoutimi, Jonquière, La Baie or Alma, as often as needed.

A first meeting costs nothing.

Thirty minutes, no obligation, at your place or by video call. Reply within 24 hours, seven days a week.
